Reminder –Josten’s will be back to collect class ring and
graduation supply orders and deposits.
Look for them today at lunch in the cafeteria.

Everyone must report to Advisory today. Those who donated and received a ticket to
Trunk or Treating will be dismissed by intercom.
·
Friday,
Nov 1 use alternate pick up location in afternoon! In the morning there will only be one land
open as the Great Chili Cook-off gets started setting up. Be watchful for cars and trucks unloading.
·
Calling all Gryphons! Gryphon Outreach is putting on a
Chicken Nugget Eating Contest between some members of the faculty. The teams
will be Mr. Smith, Mr. Fannon, and Mr. Webster against Ms. Griggs, Ms. Norton,
and Ms. Holt. The competition will be 10 minutes long to see who can eat the
most chicken nuggets. That's where you come in. You will be able to donate
money to support your favorite side. Buckets will go out Wednesday, October 30
and continue until November 6th. For each $10 donated to a side, that team will
receive an advantage that will be explained when you donate. Support your
favorite side! Monies raised wil go to
support Gryphon Outreach’s charity efforts.

Reminder: The deadline for the PTSA Reflections,
Safety/Multi Media and Citizenship contests is next week. Students,
please finalize your entries and get them submitted to the front desk or to Ms.
Jorgenson by the end of the day on Friday, November 8th.

Congratulations to our first two All-District Golfers! Chris Kleinschmidt and Jacob Samar were both elected to the
2013 District 2 A-AA All District Golf team!
·
Gryphon Climbing Team participated in our first
competition Tuesday night. Linda Thornton and Taylor Compton-Phelps both had perfect scores completing all the
routes. They are currently on top of the leaderboards in the first round of
competition. Ryan Gardner also
competed, doing very well, completing one of the six routes and almost
completing 3 others. Everyone at the competition was extremely
complimentary of our students professionalism and good sportsmanship. For

Shout out to three student
volunteers who conducted and instructed class in Mr. Gibson's absence. These individuals
lead the class through three different pieces of music, displaying high levels
of professionalism and innovation:
Elias Arnold, Ryan Flint, and Faith Harris. Also, Peyton Williams and Faith Harris for going above and beyond to make things run smooth. Way to model our high expectations Gryphons!

completed applications to Mrs. Salerno for all programs EXCEPT Governor's
School for the ARTS by November 26th. This will ensure that your application can be
submitted by the school in time to meet their final deadline. Late
applications to Governor's School are not accepted!
