L&N Student Mission – #Own it!
School
Ops:
· Good luck to our students competing at UTK Engineering
Day today! We look forward to hearing
about all your victories in various events throughout the day!
·
Good luck to our runners – the
Boys and Girls teams will be competing in the Regional Cross Country meet at
Victor Ashe Park today. Run fast
Gryphons!
·
Mrs. Ashe needs your help – on
Monday a bracelet she wears on her right wrist apparently fell off during the
day. It is silver with gold accents and
has clear stones set in it. If you found
it or by chance picked it up, please drop it off at the office. It has sentimental value!
· Interested in
making $20? Come to G006 on Mondays during your lunch period to get your height
and weight taken! We'll sign you up to come back and pick up an accelerometer
that you will wear for 7 days. An accelerometer is a nifty device that measures
your physical activity. After that, you'll bring it back and we'll give you a
$20 Walmart gift card! Hope to see you then! Questions? Ask Chelsea clessard@vols.utk.edu or Dr.
Bretscher .
· Gryphons! Spirit
Week is here, and with that comes the annual Fall Dance. Saturday, October 28,
The Fall Harvest will be held in the commons from 7-10. Tickets
are now on sale during all lunches. Tickets for singles are $8, and couples are
$14.
·
Congratulations to freshman Kieran
Maben for being selected to perform on Double Bass in the regional Junior
Clinic Orchestra! Way to go, Kieran!
