College App Week!! There
are so many options out there – from certifications and degree programs to
majors to locations, institution sizes, and life choices during the
experience! We are sending you on a
Teacher Search to explore these facets of college. At the bottom and attached is a Teacher
Search puzzle. From now till Friday by
12:20 p.m., find teachers who fit these descriptions and record your answers on
the form found here: https://goo.gl/forms/ZHdGctbGaXtUrwPo1
You can only use a teacher’s name for one box and answers must be
complete and correct to count. Write
your answers down and fill out the form when you’re done. Prize descriptions are on the form. Have fun getting to know more about your
teachers and the college experience!
·
Students who park off
campus – please be vigilant about locking your car and storing belongings in
the trunk or out of sight. We are
becoming aware of reports of car break-ins in the downtown area. We can patrol our campus lot and have asked
KPD to step up patrols in the Blackstock lot and Grand Avenue, but you can help
by always locking, being aware of your surroundings, and taking
precautions. Don’t give thieves a reason
to believe you have anything valuable in your car!
·
Get out this weekend
to the Rock the First Amendment event to be held at Blount County Public
Library, Saturday, 9/30, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

welcome. The library will have activities targeted toward kids and teens during
the concert, and they will be giving away door prizes, one of which will be a
Covalence (the L&N students’ band) t-shirt. Four Gryphons are in this band, Carter Manson, Tad Long, Harrison
Hammett, and Gregory Croisdale. Find out more about the event at https://www.facebook.com/events/662940453911010/
