School Ops:

·      Sophomores and Juniors – plan now to attend our free ACT practice test and workshop on Saturday, Feb 23, 8:30 – 1:30.  This is a great chance to practice and get feedback to improve your scores right before the March ACT test administration dates!  More info coming on how to sign up soon.

·      Reading Night!  Mark your calendars: Our next Reading Night is scheduled for Friday, January 25th from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. All you need is a book to read--Check one out from our library! We'll alternate between quiet reading time and time to socialize. Equality Club will be hosting the evening and PTSA will be sponsoring the evening, and they'll generously be providing food and raffle prizes. It's sure to be fun!

·      Book Drive! Our Key Club and The Gryphon Coffee Nook are sponsoring a book drive throughout January. Please drop off your books for donation to the office or the STEM Library. Thank you!

·      Student laptops will be returned as soon as they are ready.  Do not ask in the office.  Teachers will make allowances and have lessons planned that do not require them.

·      No Genius Hours this week.  We are meeting in Advisory every day and holding class meetings according to the schedule below.  On the day your grade level is meeting, you need to report to the rooms listed below for 1^st lunch – you will eat 2^nd lunch.  Look for and sit with your Advisory teacher so they may take attendance.

Community  & Guidance Ops:

·      Sophomores, don’t forget to return your 4-year plan of study received in Government to the Guidance office by Jan 14.

·      Seniors come get help to fill out your FAFSA, Thursday, Jan 17, 6:00 – free help!  Deadline for getting pell grants, student loans and other assistance is Jan 18 – don’t leave money on the table!
