Parent challenge to share over spring break

Parents,

We had originally planned to show a video to students during Thursday's Advisory class to start a conversation about bullying.  We are creating a whole initiative for our students about avoiding inappropriate behaviors that will continue after spring break.  Due to a big field trip for Government students and our Apple recognition ceremony tomorrow, we are postponing viewing for students until after spring break; but we want to give you the link so you can view the video and decide if you'd like to share it with your student to start a conversation between you and your child about this important topic.  Remember, the video has one cuss word, but the message is full of hope.  We look forward to continuing the conversation with students after break.  Here's the link to the video:

You can also find more information about this poet and his project against bullying, including his life story, at ths site: http://www.shanekoyczan.com/ .
