art faculty is also representing the school. Currently Ms. Jorgenson has a piece in the Arts Alliance show in the Art
Emporium at the corner of Jackson and Gay Streets, and Ms. Rodriguez has a piece in the annual art ed intern art show in
the gallery in the Bailey Education Complex at UT.
· National Science & Engineering
Festival in Washington, D.C. April 13-17
We
still have four more slots on the DC Field Trip, so we are trying to fill up
the bus in-house instead of extending it to another school. (There are 44
students going so far.) We have room for 2 more girls and 2 more boys. The
deposit will be due WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6 (since the hotel deposit is due at
that time). First come, first served. E-mail me if you decide to go. Attached
is the information/field trip permission form. Ms. Jorgenson will also be
taking a team of art students to explore the wonderful (and free) art museums.
At the Showcase next Tuesday Ms. Jorgenson will be available to answer
questions and collect deposits. For more information, see http://www.usasciencefestival.org.
