School Ops:
·           Congratulations to the following students for being selected to perform in the 2018 Knox County Schools Honors Band:  Connor Johnson (Flute, Concert Band), Anastasia Slisher (Principal Oboe, Symphonic Band), Witt Norris (Clarinet, Concert Band), Faith Warehime (Clarinet, Concert Band), Allaura Wile (Bass Clarinet, Symphonic Band), Clara Winn (Alto Saxophone, Concert Band), Chrysi McDonald (Trombone, Concert Band), Raymond Wysmierski (Percussion, Symphonic Band), Miles Carter (Percussion, Symphonic Band)!

·           Heads up freshmen – juniors, this Wednesday & Thursday we will be hosting our Senior breakfasts in the Commons from 8:15 – 9:15.  All other students will need to enter the cafeteria from the Verandah door and eat on the verandah or plaza.  The media center will not be open until 9:20.  Seniors, use this link to sign up for the day you are coming – remember all seniors are expected to attend one of the 2 days: https://goo.gl/forms/gMTLtA9jLByR8xCB2

Community  & Guidance Ops:
·           UT is hosting residential programs this summer for those who think they may go into some field of engineering.  See the flyer below for more details and application website.

·           Junior Night is coming up on Thursday, Nov. 15th from 6-8 pm with breakout sessions covering: Exploring college options and majors, the college application timeline and process, GPA and college admissions, scholarships and financial aid, dual enrollment, getting into UTK, community college and technical schools - and more important topics to help prepare you for your senior year! Save the date!
