Make plans now for a big Friday
night – the air will be alive with music!
Two events going on – one is our instrumental music spring
concert at the Knoxville Convention Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. The other is our own Treasure Rowe
going up against students from all other high schools at the system’s CTE Goes
Live event at Central High School. Both
are free admission. Choose your activity
and come out to support your classmates!
·
This Sunday, May 7th, is
L&N's Baccalaureate Service. Seniors, remember to arrive by
2:00. We will have a brief "run-through" of the service before
the prelude music begins at 2:45. Seniors, bring only your cap and gown
as no honors will be worn for this service. This will be a memorable
service with music provided by L&N's brass ensemble and a cappella
choir! Everyone is invited! The staff and faculty are holding a
reception for the graduates and their families directly after the service at
the school at 4:00.
·
On Tuesday our Field event
athletes competed in the KIL Track and Field Championship at HVA. Jaylen Foster won both the Long
