Ops:
· Freshmen – if your last name starts with Jones – Wright you will come to the
STEM Space (upstairs in Depot) for a class meeting during Advisory. You will eat 3rd lunch. Everyone else – check the attachment for your
Advisory lunch and room number today.
· Sophomores will get laptops back today during
Advisory. Juniors – you need to prepare
yours, they will be collected on Monday and returned on Wednesday. Seniors will be collected Wednesday and
returned on Friday.
· Students, did you know we have a social worker here on
Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:30 – 2:30?
She can help you with community resources, shoe and clothing cards,
hygiene items, and is just nice to talk to!
Don’t try to handle family problems on your own – reach out for the help

· Are you quick on the draw? Do you like jeopardy? Then you
might be interested in joining the L&N Science Bowl Team! If so, please

· Want to join the L&N STEMpunks robotics team? They’re
having an interest meeting August 18th
5:00-7:00 pm in the Commons! You can come and find out more about the team
(bring your parents!) before signing up.
· Interest Meeting for the L&N Cross Country teams (boys
and girls) will be on Friday morning,
8/11, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. in room 207. If you ride a bus in the morning just come as
quick as you get here.

If you need help with your cafeteria number or your parents need to
put money in your account, there is a place to do it online. It is here. If you need to apply for free and reduced
lunch it is available online, go here. If you need to do it by paper to take home to
your parents, ask one of the ladies at the cash registers. They will help you. Please ask at breakfast time because it is
less busy than at lunch. You will eat
lunch with your Advisory teacher. A
separate email will be sent that lists the lunch assignments.
Community
& Guidance Ops:
· Be sure you are checking
your schedule on Aspen before each class – your schedule can change even
during the day! We are finishing changes
by balancing class sizes. Stay informed!
