Ops:
· Don’t forget – we’ll be collecting and reimaging all
sophomore laptops today (Wednesday).
Follow the directions attached to this email to back up all your
files/data. Juniors are Thursday, and Seniors
are Friday.
· Want to join the L&N STEMpunks robotics team? They’re
having an interest meeting August 18th
5:00-7:00 pm in the Commons! You can come and find out more about the team
(bring your parents!) before signing up.
· Interest Meeting for the L&N Cross Country teams
(boys and girls) will be on Friday morning,
8/11, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. in room 207. If you ride a bus in the morning just come as
quick as you get here.

Please be mindful of KCS dress code as you choose your outfits. Shirts must have straps (you must have
something at the shoulders!) at least 3 fingers wide, shorts/skirts must extend
beyond your fingertips when hands are at your sides. No back cutouts or bare midriffs. Thank you for your cooperation.

Regular cafeteria service begins today. Hot and cold items will be available for
breakfast and lunch! If you need help
with your cafeteria number or your parents need to put money in your account,
there is a place to do it online. It is here. If you need to apply for free and reduced
lunch it is available online, go here. If you need to do it by paper to take home to
your parents, ask one of the ladies at the cash registers. They will help you. Please ask at breakfast time because it is
less busy than at lunch. You will eat lunch
with your Advisory teacher. A separate
email will be sent that lists the lunch assignments.

Make plans to attend the first PTSA Open House of the year this
Thursday, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. PTSA
will be cooking burgers and dogs so you can come eat from 5:00 – 6:30. Parents can meet all your teachers, and find
out more about how to be involved with your school. Always a fun night – come join us!
