Wednesday’s bell schedule:

Lunch served to all from 12:30 – 1:20.  Buses will run at 4:30 for those who need them.  All students with returned permission slips may leave at 12:30.

School Ops:
·      Cafeteria will be serving hot breakfast and lunch today.  It is the last day of service this year.  Lunch is burgers and dogs from yesterday’s cookout – they were awesome!  Plan to help us finish the leftovers!

·      Thursday – no cafeteria service at all.  No scheduled classes.  Only students with an appointment with a teacher should be on campus.  This is makeup only.  This is KCS’ official last day of school for students.

·      Good luck to both Boys’ and Girls’ Tennis teams, who will be playing in the championship finals today in Murfreesboro!  Track is set to start their run at state titles today, too!

·      Summer reading assignments will be available on our website beginning this Friday, May 25.  You should get your schedule in a couple weeks, but you can start on summer work for any class you requested!

Community  & Guidance Ops: 
Summer school runs 5/29 – 6/29.  Mr. Bell and Mr. Griffin can help you register if you find now you might need it.

Yearbook signing 1:30 – 4:30 on the Plaza (Commons in case of rain)


School Ops:
·      If parents are picking you up at 12:30 – be aware a lane of Worlds Fair Park will be closed as Rolling Thunder, a convoy of about 500 biker veterans on their way to the Vietnam Memorial wall in Washington DC, will be stopping for lunch at our Veterans Memorial.  If you’d like to earn some volunteer hours we are seeking workers to help serve lunch and clean up as they move on at 1:30.  See Officer Clabo if you want to volunteer.

·      Be reminded, the cafeteria is cooking out for lunch today!  You can use your regular cafeteria account number to pay for lunch or bring cash – it is regular lunch price! 

·      For your reference – here’s a quick glimpse of the schedule for the rest of this week:
o  Tuesday, L day classes – L1 & L2 exams, everyone eats lunch from 12:30 – 1:20. 
§  Lunch will be a cookout menu then yearbook signing on the plaza from 1:30 – 4:30. 
§  Buses run at 4:30 – you may not leave and come back to catch a bus.
§  If you are on campus from 1:30 – 4:30 you should either be on Plaza for signing.  You should not be anywhere else in the building unless you are with a teacher.  This includes seniors returning!
§  Film festival from 5:00 – 7:00 in the Commons
o  Wednesday, N day classes – N1 & N2 exams, everyone eats lunch (or leaves with permission)from 12:30 – 1:20. 
§  Makeups may be scheduled from 1:30 – 4:30.
§  Buses will run at 4:30
o  Thursday – no cafeteria service at all.  No scheduled classes.  Only students with an appointment with a teacher should be on campus.  This is makeup only.  This is KCS’ official last day of school for students.

·      Good luck to our tennis teams and track as they head to Murfreesboro for the state tournament this week!  Go Gryphons!

·      Today you will report to your regular “L” day classes following the M-day bell schedule.  For your reference, the class and lunch schedule is below.  You will go to lunch according to your 3rd block teacher.

·      For your reference – here’s a quick glimpse of the schedule for the rest of this week:
