Gryphon Student Announcements for 11/13/13

GRYPHON ANNOUNCEMENTS
For Wednesday, November 13, 2013
 “N” Day Schedule

·      Couple school policy reminders to be aware of students:
o   Cold weather is not an excuse to wear hats inside the buildings.  This is a dress code, and more importantly a professional work place issue to get in the habit of removing hats indoors.  Compliance is expected.
o   Leaving campus property, unless in the company of a teacher, is a suspendable offense.  Students with SOSE and Dual credit classes have very specific guidelines to do so, and not following them or encouraging others to do so can lose that privilege.  “On campus” includes stepping out of a bus or car that has given you a ride to school.  Also be reminded that loitering in parking lots is prohibited by KPD and PBA.

·      Please encourage your parents to come tomorrow night (Thursday) from 5:30 -7:00 to participate in a design process around next year’s schedule.  You will get your chance in Advisory over the next few weeks.

·      The "Girl's Group" is sponsoring a food drive for FISH pantries. Each advisory will be given a box (or more if needed) on Tuesday Nov 12th  to begin collecting non-perishable food items. The advisory class that gathers the most food donations by Nov 26th will win a Krispy Kreme Donut party. Please encourage your classmates to participate in this worthy cause. If you fill your box ahead of time and need another one please email Mrs. Stewart or Mrs. Keith so we can collect the box and replace it.

·      Be on the lookout - on December 4th we will be having a faculty vs. Senior football game and tickets will be three dollars to watch during the last hour of an Early Release Wednesday schedule.  Monies raised will go toward scholarships for senior dues.  Tickets will go on sale during lunch soon.

·      This is the last week to order – PTSA has the following items available for order.  Order forms are in the front office.  There are pictures of products at the front office counter underneath the rack holding the order forms:
