TESTING Announcements for 5/17/13

GRYPHON TESTING ANNOUNCEMENTS
For May 17, 2013

TEST AND BELL SCHEDULE:

This week, all week long – regular bell schedule – although bells will be turned off.  Your teachers will dismiss classes.  No announcements over the intercom this week due to ongoing AP testing.

You will go to your regular L & N classes all day long.
Friday, 5/17, you will take finals in your N3 and N4 blocks. These are the last regularly scheduled meetings of these classes.

All teachers are required to have an assignment for all classes, even if you have already had an AP exam or state EoC.  Some classes will be taking local EoCs (the same test given across the whole county) and some will be taking teacher-created tests just for your class.

Please keep in mind the following security measures we’ve asked your teachers to follow as they have you take exams:
Students do not write on the exam (for systemwide EoCs) under any circumstance.
Students should not be on their phones, iPads, etc. at any point while students are testing.
Students should not be allowed to leave class unless there is an emergency while students are testing.

Monday, 5/20, you will take your L1 and L2 class finals.  IF YOU’VE TURNED IN YOUR EARLY EXAM RELEASE PERMISSION SLIP, you will be dismissed to leave school at 12:22.  If not, you will report the the Commons for lunch (everybody at once) and will stay there unless a teacher comes to get you for make up work until 4:30.

Tuesday, 5/21, you will take your N1 and N2 class finals.

* NOTE:  Students who leave early on Monday and Tuesday are to leave campus and NOT be on any Knox County School campus.  Those who are caught on other high school, middle, or elementary campuses will be taken to Juvenile and charged with criminal trespassing!  This is the same for the whole county!

The ONLY students who should be in the building on May 22 are those who owe a teacher make up assignments.
