Today’s bell schedule is below – remember Mondays are our Early
Release days at 3:30. You will receive a
separate message with reminders to keep about Early Release procedures. You’ll eat with your third period teacher on
Mondays following the schedule at the bottom of these announcements.

After lunch Friday we found food trays and trash on the plaza. This is unacceptable! Police yourselves and each other and help us
keep campus clean or we’ll have to shorten lunches to fit in 4 instead of 3 so
each one can fit in the Commons only!
·
Interested in helping plan and put on events for the school? Join us
at a Student Government Association (SGA) interest meeting on Wednesday at
lunch. When it's your assigned lunch, get your lunch and find a seat on the
veranda. You'll learn what SGA is all about, and we'll have applications should
you be interested in joining.
·
Plan now to come to the first Open House of the year, Tuesday, Aug 18,
from 6:00 – 8:00. The PTSA will be
serving dinner (hot dogs, hamburgers, and fixins’) for a donation starting at
5:30.
·
If you have not yet set up a Knox County Schools email account, please
come to the library from 9:00 – 9:20 in the mornings. You’ll be assisted so you can receive emails
and access Canvas courses.
·
If you need help with your cafeteria number or your parents need to
put money in your account, there is a new address online. It is here. If you need to apply for free and reduced
lunch it is available online, go
here. If you need to do it by paper
to take home to your parents, ask one of the ladies at the cash registers. They will help you. Please ask at breakfast time, not lunch, when
it is more busy.
Community & Guidance Ops:

Freshmen and Sophomores – guidance will be running parent
informational meetings at 6:15 and 7:00 at the Open House. Sessions are about 15 minutes each. Invite your parents to stop in while on
campus.
