SPIRIT WEEK 2016
School Ops:
·
Sophomores and Seniors – in case
you missed them before fall break, Josten’s
will be back on campus all three lunches
Tues., Oct 18, to collect orders and deposits ($60)! Stop by and see them in the Commons!
·
This week is Spirit Week at the L&N. This is all about showing you belong to the
L&N family, and your class’ “team,” in particular. So have some fun, show your school spirit by
participating actively in the theme for each day and the various activities
through the week. Remember, all spirit week outfits must meet KCS dress
code! The point is to show school
spirit – so think about how your dress might be perceived by others – your
challenge is to inspire school spirit, not offend others. Thank you for your professionalism in
advance!

A Pep Rally – all students
will be dismissed to the Amphitheater at 3:25.
Sit with your class and get ready to show your school spirit! Sign up to participate in one of the games
that will be played by going to: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/20F0F4EA4A822A6FA7-participation
Will be out at 4:30
·
BChalk Walk – each class
will be assigned a square on the plaza to decorate by seasons – freshmen –
spring; sophomores – summer; juniors – fall; seniors – winter; teachers – all
seasons. Judging will be Friday after
school.
·
CPenny wars - There will be a table
with a jar for each grade where you can donate coins that will go toward

level’s jar will count positively toward their score, while the value of other
coins or dollar bills are subtracted.
Classes get to keep all funds raised.
·
DBest Dressed - Selected teachers will be
voting each day of spirit to determine what class is “best dressed”. Students
can share their costumes by posting them on twitter or instagram
and using the hashtag #lnspirit16.
·
EFall Dance - The Fall Dance will be on
Saturday, October 22nd from 7pm-10pm, in the Commons. The theme is “A Twist
Back in Time”. Dress fun (you best 50s attire) or fancy! Tickets,
which will be sold throughout the week at lunch, are $8 for an
individual and $14 for a couple.
