L&N Student Mission – #Own it!

School Ops:
·      Reminder – In-School ACT for all Juniors is Tuesday.  You can find the schedule and where you should be at this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yAiWPr36btieQD8kyOAIjgjNwil6z3qubu4xAJw5sDA/edit?usp=sharing  Parents – we need a couple more adults to walk with us to UT, if you’re available, please contact the office!
Students should look at the class schedule below – if you have dual enrollment that conflicts with this alternative schedule, you MUST notify your L&N teacher.  You may attend dual enrollment classes, but must make arrangements to make up work for any L&N class missed.

·      SGA Dance-A-Thon will be held Thursday, March 14, 5:30 – 8:30 in the Commons.  SGA members will be selling tickets in the Commons daily through next Wednesday.  Tickets are $14 for a dance pair and $5 for a spectator.  Grab a friend and boogie or come watch the fun!

·      Last week to buy prom tickets!  The prom committee members will be selling tickets during both lunches everyday except Mondays. Tickets will be single tickets are $45 and couples tickets are $80. Additionally if students paid their senior dues the cost of a single ticket was included. Prom sales will END March 15, which is FRIDAY. There will be NO TICKETS sold at the door.

·      Students– start planning ahead – Worlds Fair Park Drive will be down to one lane starting Tuesday, 3/12, so parents can’t wait along the front of Holiday Inn Exhibition Center.  Then WFP Drive will close completely Thursday/Friday, you will not be able to enter from the south end of the park and it will be closed past our parking gate.  Blackstock Lot parkers need to expect to be directed to one small area to park for the week – we suggest planning to park along the edges of the International lot.

Community  & Guidance Ops:
