·      out to our NHD competitors, who went to UT on Friday and won a place at the state competition in April.  Moving on will be: Reece Brown, 1st place in Individual Performance; Elizabeth Moody, Jaeden Jenkins, Lisha Patel, John Humphrey and Pilar Huerta, 1st place Group Performance; Ian Rainey, 2nd place Individual Exhibit; and Olivia Sharp 2nd place Individual Website.  Congrats to all who entered and represented us so well!

·      Our Science Olympiad teams went to ETSU this weekend and took no prisoners!  Congratulations to our Science Olympians for their outstanding performance and finishing 2nd Place this weekend at the ETSU Regional tournament. Every student on both competition teams earned at least one medal, and L&N STEM Academy is heading to the State tournament for the second straight year!  The list of honors is so long it had to go at the bottom of the briefing today – look below.

·      Boys and Girls Tennis team tryouts are rescheduled for Monday, March 4, after school at Tyson Park. To tryout you must have all necessary documentation submitted to Mr. Blythe. Please see him with any questions.

·      There are exactly  14  10 yearbooks left to purchase for $80. If you haven't purchased a book, you're running out of time; visit jostensyearbooks.com to make sure you don't get left out on distribution day. If you think you've purchased a yearbook but aren't sure, email s1005538- and make sure to follow @STEMYB on Twitter!

·      ATTENTION JUNIORS & SENIORS:   The prom committee members are selling tickets during both lunches everyday except Mondays. Tickets will be single tickets are $45 and couples tickets are $80. Additionally if students paid their senior dues the cost of a single ticket was included.  Prom sales will END March 15. There will be NO TICKETS sold at the door. 

Community  & Guidance Ops:
·      Seniors – remember, your next required TN Promise meeting is Thursday, March 7, 8:00 a.m. in the Commons.  Breakfast will be in the serving area and verandah until 9:00 a.m. that morning for everyone else.
