·      Lunch is a cookout on the plaza.  Plan on eating from our cafeteria’s grill today!

·      During testing today we will be doing a device wellness check.  This helps us prepare for next year’s incoming students by getting an idea how many devices are still serviceable and able to be used again.  Nothing will be done to your hard drive.  This is a physical check of the hardware.
o   If you are taking the ACT you will put your device in a crate before beginning your test in your testing room.
o   If you are going to UT you need to stop by the Media Center to drop off your device before you meet your group – anytime between 8:45 – 9:25.
o   If you are in study hall they will come to you to collect them.  Check takes a little over a minute each.
o   If you are a senior and not on campus for testing please make a stop in the Media Center and drop your device, or if you have a minute they will probably be able to check it while you wait.
o   Devices will be returned as we return to lunch and 1st block classes.
o   All students are expected to participate in device check.  Those not checked on this date will be collected and done at the IT department’s convenience – please help get it done while we have extra help to do it during the ACT testing window today!

·      SGA Dance-A-Thon will be held Thursday, March 14, 5:30 – 8:30 in the Commons.  SGA members will be selling tickets in the Commons daily through next Wednesday.  Tickets are $14 for a dance pair and $5 for a spectator.  Grab a friend and boogie or come watch the fun!

·      Last week to buy prom tickets!  The prom committee members will be selling tickets during both lunches everyday except Mondays. Tickets will be single tickets are $45 and couples tickets are $80. Additionally if students paid their senior dues the cost of a single ticket was included. Prom sales will END March 15, which is FRIDAY. There will be NO TICKETS sold at the door.

·      Students– start planning ahead – Worlds Fair Park Drive will be down to one lane starting today, so parents can’t wait along the front of Holiday Inn Exhibition Center.  Then WFP Drive will close completely Thursday/Friday, you will not be able to enter from the south end of the park and it will be closed past our parking gate.  Blackstock Lot parkers need to expect to be directed to one small area to park for the week – we suggest planning to park along the edges of the International lot.

Community  & Guidance Ops:
·      Our PTSA has 2 scholarships available for graduating seniors - The scholarship contest info is all found here:  http://ptsalnstem.weebly.com/scholarships.html  Deadline for submissions is 5:00 pm, Sunday, April 7.
