"L" Schedule Day
ACADEMIC PUSH PERIOD
·
Students – we are entering the Academic Push for
the last 9 weeks of this year. Until the end of the year, everyone will be in
Advisory every day for some special programming from the school and mandatory
study time. Juniors will have some
special opportunities to earn off campus privileges – details to come later
this week. We have only 7 Mondays left
in this school year – so look for some targeted tutoring and help sessions to
help you prepare for your End of Course, AP, and other exams and finish the
year strong!

Congratulations to the Robotics team for a great
showing at the Smoky Mountain Regional FIRST Robotics competition last
week. We were also well-represented at
the Hardin Valley Academy invitational Track meet on Saturday – go Gryphons!

The Chess Club is having a fundraiser
selling flower bulbs. We are raising money to buy more chess boards, timers,
and pay competition entry fees in the Fall. This event runs through April 15,

Big Orange STEM Symposium: High school juniors
are invited to the University of Tennessee's Big Orange STEM Symposium on
Saturday, April 6th from 10:00am-3:00pm at Hodges Library. This program
will introduce local high school students to careers and research exploration
in STEM disciplines through active engagement, networking, and hands-on
presentations from experts in the field and community. Registration opens
