interfaith baccalaureate service for graduating seniors and their
families. This year's service will be held on Sunday, May 7, at
3pm at Immaculate Conception Church located at 414 West Vine
Street. The service is free of charge and promises to provide an
uplifting ceremony for all religious backgrounds as we celebrate our
graduates. Students are asked to wear their graduation cap and
gown. Honors collars and club sashes typically worn with the gowns during
graduation will not be worn during this service.

This Friday, April 21, is the
national Day of Silence. Day of Silence is a student-led national event,
bringing awareness to the silencing effects of anti-LGBTQ name-calling,
bullying and harassment in schools. Students and teachers can participate
by visiting the Equality Club in the commons or on the plaza before school and
picking up a sticker. We will have red stickers for participants who wish to
stay silent to show support (PLEASE NOTE: this does not excuse students from
answering a teacher or participating in class for the day) or blue stickers for
participants who just wish to show support.
