·      Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the media center will be offering a match-making service! From Monday, February 9th to Friday, February 12th, come to the media center and let us set you up on a blind date—with a good book! We’re wrapping up some of our books so that you can’t judge them by their covers (or their titles or blurbs). You’ll pick a book based on hints in its personal ad, and you won’t know what book you’ve chosen until you check it out and unwrap it. If you’re willing to take a chance on something new and different, you might just fall in love! (And even if the book you pick isn’t a good match for you, at least you’ll get to unwrap a present; and who doesn’t like finding out what the surprise is under wrapping paper?)

·      Make plans to join us for a pancake breakfast fundraiser hosted by SGA on Saturday, March 5th, from 8:30 A.M. to 10 A.M. The fundraiser will be held at the Chili's restaurant located in North Knoxville at 6635 Clinton Highway. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Great Starts program at the Helen Ross McNabb Center. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at Bring your family and friends and help us give back to our community!

Quotes of the day from Walt Disney:

Around here, we don’t look backwards for very long . . . We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things because we’re curious  . . . and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.
