Seniors: Plan now to be here Friday, Feb 12 between 8:30
– 9:30 in room 104 to pick up your senior supplies (Cap/gown, tankards, and
announcements). You will receive a
collection envelope in the mail. Any
remaining balance due must be paid before you pick up your things. Supplies not picked up will be taken back to
Josten’s. There is a $20 shipping charge
for any supplies that have to be mailed.

Congratulations to our
student winners of the 2016 STEMinar contest! Sydney Fuhrig, Julia
Pavon, Brendon Blair, and Zach Medley have all been selected
as our student essay contest winners. Our guest panelists this year will
be Andre Canty, President of 100 Black Men of Knoxville, Shannon
Jackson, ELA Supervisor for Knox County Schools, and Indya Kincannon,
Special Projects Manager for Mayor Rogero. The STEMinar will be on TONIGHT,
from 6:30 to 7:30 in the STEM space. Come hear the discussion or join the
conversation by tweeting your questions about the STEMinar theme,
"The Impact of Fear in Life and Literature" with the hashtag
#STEMinar16

Prom tickets for the
Junior/Senior Prom are available for purchase during lunch. Single tickets are
$50 and a couple tickets are $90 until February 29. After that there
is another price increase - so get your tickets now!

raise money and plan on inviting everyone you know to the STEM Around the World
event, Saturday, Feb 27, from 12:00 – 4:00.

The L&N STEM PTSA is having a T-shirt design contest and we need
lots of entries.... there's a $50 prize for the winning shirt design!...plus
a free T-shirt! T-shirt will have the
L&N school crest on the front left chest, so the design will be for the
back of the shirt. Design should be
something that represents our school or it’s culture.

colors of ink (white counts as a color if the shirt is not white)

T-shirt is up to the designer so please state your color on the entry

seeking applicants for the 2016-17 Youth Leadership Class. Must be a current sophomore to be
