BANNED
BOOKS WEEK - Stop by
the school library this week to check out our Banned Books Week display
that celebrates books that have been challenged and banned over the years.
Whether they've been upsetting to community members across the country because
of inappropriate language or disturbing topics, these books have endured
because students, teachers, parents, and librarians have pushed back
and fought for students' freedom to read and experience the world through the
eyes of others! Celebrate your freedom to read with us this week. Take a
picture of yourself and/or a friend reading a banned book, and tweet it
using #BannedBooksWeek, @LNSTEMLib, and @LNSTEMAC.
