School Ops:
· New
students who still need a device. We will be contacting you through your
Advisory class to arrange delivery.
· Students
thank you for your patience as we continue to work through settling
schedules. We are still balancing class
sizes, rooms, seniors with graduation requirements to meet, and dual enrollment
conflicts. Please know we will work to
address conflicts but we will not change schedules because a student changed
his/her mind or just has a different preference at this time. Be sure to check
your schedule on Aspen every day for the next few days for any class or room
changes.
· Cafeteria is
open! Stop in and enjoy hot and cold
breakfast items and full lunch menu – and snap a selfie in the photo booth they

if you post!

Please be mindful of KCS dress code as you choose your outfits.
Shirts must have straps at least 3 fingers wide, shorts/skirts should hit
mid-thigh or longer. No back cutouts or bare midriffs. Thank you for your cooperation.

The ACT Senior Retake
Opportunity is Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018 at school. All seniors may take
the ACT for free on this date, whether or not they have previously
tested. All seniors are REQUIRED to complete the form linked below no
later than Tuesday, August 21st in order to register for or decline this
opportunity. The form contains further information. Reminder:
Taking the ACT is a graduation requirement in the state of
Tennessee. All seniors are encouraged to take the ACT more than
once as research demonstrates a 1-3 point increase in scores between the first
and second attempt and further increases in subsequent tests.
