School Ops:

·       When you arrive on campus in the morning, look around school for Advisory room posters – they will tell you who your Advisory teacher is and where you will meet.  You should be there by 9:30 a.m. to start your day.  They will have your schedule to give you.

·       It’s the first day of school, even though it is hot.  Please be mindful of KCS dress code as you choose your outfits.  Shirts must have straps at least 3 fingers wide, shorts/skirts must extend beyond your fingertips when hands are at your sides.  No back cutouts or bare midriffs.  Thank you for your cooperation.

·       Regular cafeteria service begins tomorrow (Thursday).  On Wednesday, our PTSA has provided snacks and water that you can pick up between your L4 and N1 classes.

·       Make plans to attend the first PTSA Open House of the year this Thursday, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  PTSA will be cooking burgers and dogs so you can come eat from 5:30 – 6:30.  Parents can meet all your teachers, and find out more about how to be involved with your school.  Always a fun night – come join us!  If you’re new to the school you can pick up your technology.  You must bring a cover for a MacAir 11.5” and a financially responsible adult to take home your device.

Community  & Guidance Ops:

·       Please follow your schedule as printed today.  If you do not have a schedule you will be told where to report during your Advisory class.  If you have questions for your counselor, please email according to your last name (lori.morrell@knoxschools.org for last names A – J, timothy.childers@knoxschools.org for last names K – Z).  You will be sent for when they are ready to work with you on your issue.
