School Ops:
· Congrats to our
Water Polo team (club team)! They had
their first win of the season this weekend, beating Bearden, 8 – 7!! Way to to!
· *STEM shirts
are now available! This shirt was
designed by STEM student Jessica Motto and is available as a short sleeve, long
sleeve or hoodie. Long sleeve and hoodie orders will be available for
pickup in the beginning of May. (ptsalnstem.weebly.com/fundraiser)

Today’s the last day to bring
in books for SGA’s book drive! We're collecting books of all types to be
donated for use by children as well as adults. Help our local communities by
donating your gently used books. Drop off your books by the podium in the
Commons. Thank you for supporting literacy in our community!
· Be ready to be
part of the historic presidential election coming later this year! Voter registration will be held in the
Commons during all lunch periods on April 20.
Must be 18 on or before August 4, 2016.
Bring your social security number and driver’s license to verify your
ID.
Community & Guidance Ops:

Representative from UTK will be in
Guidance Tuesday, 4/19/16 at 12:20.
He can help students who have been admitted and students who want to
apply next year.
· What: A week-long opportunity to learn about
materials science and materials characterization through hands-on studies
provided by CNS Y-12 National Security Complex, The University of Tennessee,
Knoxville, and Oak Ridge National Lab.
When: June 6-10, 2016
Time: Monday-Thursday, 9 am-4 pm and Friday, 9 am-12
noon
Where: The University of Tennessee Knoxville.
Cost: FREE Class size limited to 20 students.
Theme: Whodunit? Forensics in Materials and
Engineering.
Register: Registration required. Deadline is May 2, 2016.
