·      2016 Prom is this Saturday at Gettysvue Country Club in West Knoxville.  The theme is “Red Carpet Romance” and attendees will walk a red carpet behind a real velvet rope to enter.  Any student or parent interested is invited to come be “paparazzi” and line the carpet with your cell phone or camera to take photos of our glamorous prom-goers.  You can come from 6:45 – 7:45.  Please dress in black (like the real paparazzi!).  You will NOT be allowed inside the venue and not be allowed onto the carpet or entrance if you do not have a ticket .

·      Students be advised – there is way too much garbage at the end of third lunch around the grounds and near the Veterans’ Memorial.  This is your only warning, there will be no second chance.  Clean it up or Spikeball (in particular) will be discontinued through the end of the year.

·      Congratulations to our student body and teachers for moving up from a Bronze Medal to Gold and from #34 to #6 in the state of TN according to new rankings by US News and World Report!  We are the highest ranked school and only Gold Medal high school in Knox County!  Keep up the good work everyone!!  Find more details here.
