The team easily made the quarterfinals with 3 wins, 1 tie, and no losses. The victories were against teams from Portland, Oregon, St. Petersburg, Florida, and prep school Phillips Exeter Academy of New Hampshire. The team bowed out of the competition on a split-decision by the judges in a match against East Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This was by far the best performance of any school from Tennessee in the 4 years that the event has been held, and caps off a great year for the team. Well done Gryphons and looking forward to next year!
